It’s already Friday, so you deserve some cake. Cake for one, don’t share it. We’re weeks into this and this is the first cake involving chocolate. About time. Not only is this mug cake delicious, it’s pretty! The chocolate and vanilla marbled design in your cup gives you a little piece of art to enjoy before scarfing it down as you eat your feelings from the past week? I’m not the only one who uses these as an escape, am I?
My husband had a birthday on Monday, and as we wallowed in the fact that we’re both old, we threw our cares away by drinking wine, catching up with friends, seeing a great concert and going bowling. Oh, and I made him a cake based off a cake his grandma makes, which is actually his favorite. Will I ever beat out grandma? No way, I’d never win. I’ll take second best to her. But this cake was pretty darn good.
Your favorite dessert for one series is back! I wanted to share this cake last week, but as I said in my last few posts, last week just got away from me. So here is the super fluffy and moist yogurt cake! It’s pretty basic, subbing out the light cream for yogurt, but it is so tasty. I decided not to top it off with anything, but a fruit jam would be lovely on this.
