Earl Grey Pudding

6.2.16

Happy June!!!! We’re close to the halfway mark of this year.  It’s flown by and I am actually overwhelmed looking at my computer, scanning through files of pictures and folders from all I’ve done this year already. I love that I’m continuing to learn about how to do all this.  And I’m actually planning on heading to the BlogHer Food convention later in the fall. I’ve been hesitant to go to any conventions for logistical and financial reasons.  Traveling anywhere isn’t cheap. But after discussions with myself (most inside my head), and the encouragement of my husband, I’ve decided to take the plunge and attend.  As I continue to grow and create more on this blog, I can’t help but want to learn more. Whether it’s advice on photography, gaining traffic, or partnerships with brands, I really do love this corner of the blog world I’m slowly etching out. Welcome back to the second installment of me blabbing on about my wedding, which was officially one year ago.  The reason I’m feeling ok with making this blog a complete over share is because I chose not to put any photos online of our wedding, other than what was taken by phones of friends, or the occasional profile picture. I’m excited to use this outlet as a way to share because honestly,  I LOVE our photos, I want to share them with the world because I think they’re incredible.  And shameless plug. if you need a great wedding photographer in NYC or Jersey, check out John Branch Photography (all wedding photos on the blog this week were taken by him). We found him on Thumbtack (a great resource when hunting for wedding services) and we couldn’t have been happier.  He did such a great job our friends hired him for their wedding, taking place on Saturday in Long Island City!

March has begun and one can only hope spring is right around the corner!! Bright fruits and flowers blooming and sunshine that actually warms you up. It means picnic’s in the park and drinking outside is only weeks away.  I cannot wait to create things with berries, to show off some new items in my wardrobe, and make some refreshing cocktails. Let’s take the plunge into spring together….soon.
