A post on a Saturday?? What is this world coming to? Well I ran out of hours in the day to share this when I wanted to yesterday, so here we are. And it’s still the weekend so I think we’re good here, right?
If you’re a fan of the hazelnut spread, Nutella, like me, this is a great mug cake for you! It’s rich, full of chocolate, and I even had some left over ground hazelnut to sprinkle on top. And it’s summer, how has it taken me so long to pair a mug cake with ice cream?! It’s criminal that I’m only doing this now, but if eating a cake out of a mug seems too heavy in the hot weather, spoon it into a bowl and make yourself a poor man’s sundae. I did, and I’m pretty sure mug cakes and ice cream are going to be my standard Friday treat.
Extra hazelnut goodness, yes please. Whipped cream would be great on top of this one, too.
Happy summer friends, see you next week. I hope your weekend includes a little indulgence!
