Have you ever put on a summer dress in a store while it’s still cold out and thought, “Oh yeah, when it gets warm enough, I will LIVE in this dress.” This is that dress. I walked into Anthropologie during the late winter months and there was a sale sale. That’s when the sale is on sale. I tried this dress on and despite being broke, I knew I had to buy it. I knew I would live in it all summer, and while it’s only mid-June, I’ve followed through on my word. This dress is flowy, it’s soft, it’s flattering, while still giving you room to eat a burrito. It is an all around winner. I’ve begun a blue and white stripe trend in my closet and I’m not turning back. If you find that dress, and you don’t have the budget for new pieces, but it’s marked down from $100+ to $35, JUST BUST OUR YOUR CREDIT CARD AND BUY IT. You will thank yourself later.
And side note, did you notice my shoes? They’re cute and comfy and amazing and my husband brought them back from Italy because he JUST GETS ME. We went for a stroll along Riverside and enjoyed the weather we’ve been waiting so anxiously for. It finally felt like summer had begun.
