Has it really been almost a month since I last posted?? Time has flown by and life has been treating me in a feast or famine sort of way. I hibernated for the first few months of the year doing a whole lot of nothing during the bitter cold. Cut to today where it’s gorgeous out, and in the past month I’ve opened and closed a show, performed in an evening of short plays, celebrated my birthday, had close friends visit, and have been training for the Brooklyn Half Marathon which is this Saturday! Whew. Are you exhausted? I know I am! On top of this I’ve been spending as much time as possible outside because the weather has been perfect. So I’m celebrating one of our spring wardrobe staples today. The basic tee. A neutral basic tee can go with anything, be dressed up or down, and accessorized to the max. I recently snatched a few at the epic sale going on at Old Navy and took the grey one out for a spin.
I love the flexibility of a good, casual tee and this one was perfect. I’m glad I bought one in white as well! With my favorite pair of jeans and a pendant necklace I felt casual yet put together as I walked around the city. I strolled through midtown and made a long overdue visit to The Doughnut Project and treated myself. The olive oil and poppy seed one didn’t last long enough to make it into the shots, it was incredible. I saved their special of the day, the Strawberry Milkshake doughnut, for pictures and it also did not disappoint.
